Terms of Service
These Terms of Service outline the rules, responsibilities, and expectations for families using our child transportation services. By booking a ride, you agree to the terms below.
Rider Readiness & Conduct Policy
KidGo is committed to providing safe, reliable, and structured transportation for all riders. To ensure the safety and comfort of every child on board, the following standards apply.
Rider Eligibility & Readiness
KidGo welcomes children of all backgrounds and abilities. Our primary priority is vehicle safety and group transport readiness.
To participate in services, all riders must be able to:
Remain seated and properly buckled for the duration of the ride
Follow basic safety instructions from the driver
Participate in group transportation without posing a safety risk to themselves or others
KidGo is not a therapeutic, medical, or one-on-one specialized transportation provider. If a child requires individualized supervision, medical monitoring, or behavioral intervention during transport, our services may not be the appropriate fit.
Enrollment may include a trial period to ensure the route remains safe and comfortable for all riders.
KidGo reserves the right to suspend or discontinue services if a rider’s behavior compromises vehicle safety.
Rider Conduct Expectations
To ensure safety for all passengers:
Seatbelts must be worn at all times.
Riders must remain seated during transport.
No eating or drinking during transport (water is permitted).
Riders must behave respectfully toward the driver and other passengers.
Riders may not distract the driver at any time.
Repeated disruptive, unsafe, or aggressive behavior may result in suspension or termination of services.

Late payments may result in suspension of service.
Cancellations
KidGo operates on reserved seating and structured routes. To ensure reliability and fairness for all families, the following cancellation terms apply:
Rider Cancellation (Single Rides)
Single rides must be canceled at least 12 hours in advance to avoid being charged. Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
Single rides are based on availability and do not reserve a recurring seat.
Weekly & Monthly Subscriptions
Weekly and monthly payments reserve a rider’s dedicated seat and are non-refundable once the billing period begins.
Absences do not reduce or prorate subscription payments. Each rider is eligible for one (1) ride credit per month, which may be applied to a future ride within the same month.
Service Cancellations by KidGo
If KidGo cancels service due to inclement weather, driver unavailability, or other operational issues, a ride credit will be issued.
Safety & Liability
All drivers are screened and trained for child passenger safety.
While we take every precaution, KidGo Transport is not responsible for delays due to traffic, weather, or emergencies beyond our control.
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring children are ready at the scheduled pick-up time.
Car Seat Policy
Parents or guardians are responsible for providing an appropriate, properly fitted car seat or booster seat for their child, in accordance with Maryland state law.
KidGo does not supply car seats.
Car Seat Requirements
The car seat or booster must be age- and weight-appropriate.
The seat must be clean, in safe working condition, and properly labeled.
Parents are responsible for ensuring the car seat meets all current safety standards.
Drivers will properly secure the car seat before transport; however, ultimate responsibility for providing an approved and compliant seat remains with the parent or guardian.
If a required car seat or booster seat is not available at pickup, transportation services will be declined for that ride. The ride will be considered a same-day cancellation and is non-refundable.
Tracking & Communication
Families will have access to a ride-tracking app (details to be provided).
Parents will receive real-time updates on pick-ups, drop-offs, and delays when possible.
